Bandits Bookshop is a passion project founded by Laura Douglas—and co-run by her cat and mascot, Bandit—in 2024. Based in Melbourne, Australia, we offer a handpicked selection of rare and out-of-print books spanning photography, art, fashion, design, and counterculture.

What began as selling my personal collection has grown into a deeper pursuit: sourcing the kinds of books I’ve always been drawn to but rarely found in stores. Every title reflects a personal connection—books chosen not just for their rarity, but for their visual power, cultural relevance, or quiet strangeness. Bandits Bookshop is driven by taste, not trends, and exists as an online space for celebrating the overlooked, the unusual, and the unforgettable.
