Heaven (Hatje Cantz, 1999) explores the role of religious imagery and symbolism in contemporary culture through the work of 35 international artists. Published alongside an exhibition organised by the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf and Tate Gallery Liverpool, the catalogue examines how traditional ideas of faith, worship, icons and ritual continue to exist within a secular, postmodern world.
