The 1960s and 70s marked a peak for adult cinema, with films ranging from softcore sex comedies and erotic features to more explicit productions. Posters for films including Deep Throat, Debbie Does Dallas and other notorious titles of the era reflect changing attitudes towards sex, censorship and popular culture, often relying as much on suggestion, humour and exaggerated glamour as they did on the films themselves.
